Photoshoot in Kul! Let's create some memories!
We want it or not, each event in life has a beginning and ending. As well, Erasmus studies. It was hard to say goodbye for all amazing people I med there. We had a common dinner with our university Erasmus people and coordinators.
But it wasn't enough for us, so we made little parties again and again... And then suddenly we realized that this is end. But we did't say "goodbye", we said "see you later!" I just must tell you about "Kaviarnia Kawka". It's an awesome place to enjoy coffee and a cake. Mmmm... I still can feel the smell of cacao. "Kawka" is only one place in the world where you can get this kind of cacao. Oh well... Not only one, my mother does the same, But I couldn't believe that anyone else can make it! :) When my Erasmus finish was coming sometimes I just needed a cup of coffee and silence... Oh, I almost forgot to tell - the style of this place is stunning! All furniture is different but everything fits perfect together. I wish to visit this place one day again... When only few days left till Christmas all people wen crazy. In Lublin started Christmas fair with hot wine and hot beer. Our Erasmus group had a little Christmas dinner in dormitory kitchen... All people were happy and shiny because of the magic Christmas feeling. During our Polish lecture we sang a song "Pada snieg"!

During our Erasmus period, me and my Erasmus friends visited Krakow, Warszaw, Gdansk and Zakopane. Each trip was awesome and I left every city with many memories and experiences. We visited interesting museums, monuments, landscapes... We met many nice and friendly people. I would love repeat everything! Warszaw and friendly photogenic panda! Krakow and stunning night view. Gdansk and streets full of life. Sometimes when I felt lonely or just sad I loved to walk in Lublin... Me, my camera and Lublin streets. That's all I needed sometimes. Result you can see there. Romantic Lublin during sunset in a soft pink light.
In the university I had all lectures in English (about journalism) and one Polish language course. Teachers were very nice. And in classes there usually were only few people about 10-20. While in my university in each lecture there are about 80 people... So, one more reason to love KUL is small groups. It was really nice to discuss in those small classes because you don't need to be afraid or something. Also, each student can get attention from the teacher. It was a very good experience when we need to make a presentations and then make a discussion with other students. Sometimes teachers just asked us: "Hey how are you? How was your weekend?" and so on... Those moments we, Erasmus students, felt very special. There were some lecture where we had to present our country and I loved those moments to talk about my traditional food, my sightseeing objects and traditions... Well, secretly I was trying to make some pictures during the lectures. Enjoy!
Even though Lublin is not the best known city in Poland, it has a huge history heritage. Each building, each street has something to tell. People just need to see it. I loved to spent evenings in Plac Litewski, which is named in honor of my country Lithuania. That's why Lublin is so close to my heart. Lublin can tell us that many years ago, Lithuania and Poland were united countries. Another very important object in history field is Majdanek. Well, it has a sad meaning. It's all about Jewish genocide. Now there is a museum and a huge monument in order to make us remember.
When the leafs turn down...
What can I say more, Lublin is stunning during the fall season. It's perfect time to go for a long walking and dream about bright future. I will show you few pictures. P.S. In the picture you can see the street where people are always selling flowers. There is a lake in Lublin, I'm not sure how is it called but the bus station next to the lake is "Zeglarska". So next to the lake we found a very crazy activity. It's like climbing in the trees but much harder. There are many different roads which you need to survive. Actually, it is quite safe because people are with these "safety ropes" but still there is always a feeling that you can fall down. I remember now that I was very nervous all the time... But after all I was proud of myself that I did it! Also we had to wear those weird helmets which look very funny. There was about five years old girl who was much braver than I was. I felt shamed next to her. Ha ha, very funny.
